Indian Children cinema needs to evolve, In accord to Hollywood Counterpart
Kid’s movie genre in India still lags behind a lot,
if we compare it with Hollywood contemporaries. It is nowhere near to Big
Hollywood giants like ‘Disney’s Pixar studio and’ Dreamworks Studio who mainly creates
magic with Kids Movies. This is because In India, there is not much awareness
about Kids genre and still the producers fear to invest money in it. If we talk
about Indian people, their mentality about children movie is that it’s just for
children entertainment and even children don’t give much
importance to it. We a
country of Young People where 20 Crores
are just children who loves to watch Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney Kids,
Hungama and Animax channels. But what they actually see in these channels are
dubbed children contents imported from countries like U.S, Japan and U.K etc.
So even they hardly get to see Original Kids content in India. It primarily
means that there is a potential in India for Kids genre based movies and
programmes
In Recent decade, the gear of
Indian Kids movies performed better but still we lacks behind on content and monetarial
based problems. Indian Kids genre has a
history of over 60 years when Government has Established Children Film Society
of India (1955) for producing Children based movie. But still the particular
genre movies are not performing well at the box - office. The Animation and VFX
have helped Kids genre over the last 20 years. If we take a look at Indian Kids
movies released in 2014 Mighty Raju Rio Calling, ‘Bhootnath Returns’ and ‘Char
Sahibzaade’. The first was a disaster
but somehow ‘Bhootnath Returns’, ‘Char Sahibzaade’ became a hit. The reason
behind the failures of children movies is the lack of original content and less
of specialization in this field.

Despite
such hurdles in Indian Kids segment Industry, this sector is booming slowly
steadily now. In India, if we want to
make kids genre in to a big industry; first the government has to give an
active support to the industry. So that there will be good movies for our
children. The latest children movie was ‘Mere Genie Uncle’ which released on 5th June. It promises to overall fun for everyone but didn't faired well as per the expectations.

Pk creates history in neighbouring China
Bollywood’s most successful movie ‘Pk’ creates
another milestone which is simply hard to believe. Yes we are talking about the
recent release of ‘PK’ in China. In just 11 days after its (22nd
May) release in China, it earned a gross total of Rs 83.94 Crores. Yes you read
it right; this movie just doing exceptional magic across the borders. Bollywood
films try hard to reach 100 Crores mark in India but nothing seems impossible
for PK which soon be the only 100 Crore Plus movies in China.
The
trio of Director Raj Kumar Hirani, Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Mr
Perfectionist Aamir (You can call them Trimurti) always did a magic whenever
they had came together. Their previous movie ‘3 Idiots’ which released in 4,600
Screens in China also have done extremely well.
You can lead various reasons for the success of this flick. It can be
the Perfection of Aamir who earlier film ‘Dhoom 3’ and ‘3 Idiots’ also did well
at the Chinese box office or you can credit to the brilliant story. Overall the
success ratio of few of Indian films proves that China is a great potential
market for Indian Movies.
Overall, Aamir Khan Starrer ‘Pk’ has earned a whooping Rs. 710 Crores since
its release in December 19 and there is yet lot more collection to come from
the Chinese front. Apart from Aamir, ‘PK’ also stars Sushant Singh Rajput and
Gorgeous Anushka Sharma. PK is a trend setter for all the new releasing movies
in India as they can now opt for another market in South Asia where there is a
huge chance of success ratio
and gross Potential.
Pahchaane nahi ka! PK

Irfan Khan – Success with no Shout

His face was not so catchy for a desi hero looks,
so he mostly gets role of either a villain or some negative character. Who can
forget his Bihari style Villanious role is a soft romantic drama ‘Haasil’ and sexually
desperate police inspector in the Hindi movie ‘Rog’ released in 2005. He got
many roles since then, but mostly of a kind of character type. He was still in demand
for the kind of his effective acting, unique voice and the look he has.
He
earned recognition and fame by acting in both Bollywood and Hollywood movies
like Namesake, Maqbool , Slumdog Millionaire & Life of Pi . He was seen
last year in a Hollywood flick ‘The Amazing spiderman’ and Hindi film ‘Piku’. You
will see him again after a week in movie ‘The Jurassic World’. He is now
currently working on a project on ‘Inferno’ which includes Hollywood immensely
Talented Actor Tom Hanks.

Akshay’s new Avatar in “Singh is Bling”
Bollyood Action Hero ‘Akshay Kumar’ is all set to buzz up
again for his forthcoming movie “Singh Is Bling”. The name only suggests that
the movie is a sequal to “Singh is King” which already had good marks at the
box-Office. We have seen Akshay in Punjabi Avtar before but his look in this
movie poster is a little bit different from the previous one. He now looks more
urban and classy and even his looks will remind you of Sunny Deol’s looks in
few of his recent movies.
In this flick, Akshay will groove with another beauty Amy Jackson who is
now all set to firm her base in bollywood. The shooting work has been done in
foreign locale and there is no doubt that he will again do the same mischevious
thing to grab her eyes like he did to Katrina in earlier movie. Moreover, it looks as if the director will go
with the same kinda story but with a different location and different
characters. Still there is time for the trailer where we could easily findout
the story essence of this movie. Till then you can take a look at this awesome
movie poster.

Bollywood Blooms at Bandra streets
Roaming around the streets of bandra, you can easily find several
wall painted bollywood posters smiles back to you with a vibrant color. A wall
painting of the famous movie poster of ‘Anarkali ‘(1953) catches the eye of
nearly every pedestrian walking at Waroda road, Bandra. This is the not an only
area you can find big wall paintings of superstars, there are eight other landmarks where the big wall paintings painted on the
streets of Bandra. You can easily find a wall painting on the road near Mount
Marry Church where Bollywood Legend ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ poses one of his famous
styles from the movie Deewar (1973). For
Tributing India’s First Superstar Rajesh Khanna, he painted his biggest wall
painting ever at the street of Chapel Road, Bandra. As every street has its
story and so one of the crowded streets in Mumbai gets a new bollywood story
now, where even an outsider can relate to bollywood with these big murals
painting and also feel that he is actually in bollywood city now.

If we look back at bollywood historical
era of 50’s to the late 80’s, the art of painted bollywood posters and big
banners and hoardings were one of the most convenient way to promote their
upcoming movies. Since the digitization
and prolific technologies film promoters now prefer new printing options and
make thousand copies of same movie posters within a few minutes. So the painting
art of bollywood posters which was there till the late eighties got extinct
thereafter. Now with the magic hands of unique Painter Artist ‘Ranjeet Dahiya’
people can relive the moment of that era by looking at the amazing street
paintings of their favourite stars.

Speaking about his passion for Bollywood Actors Mural
paintings, Ranjeet Dahiya (35) uncovered many facets of his life which made him
inspire to do something different and now city’s one of the rare and most unique
wall painters. “I started my career as white washer after my school and I use
to white wash on houses and streets. One day I was just white washing at a
school and a principal just came and asked as, do you know someone who will
paint a Goddess Saraswati in our school. So I told, I can paint it and I
painted a 6’ 4’’ ft and it turned out very well and I got happy that I did
that. So then at the age of 19, I thought by how long I will do whitewash. So I
decided to be a painter and started learning paintings and even joined an
advertising company for a job and so I paint ads on the wall at remote villages
of Panipat. My parents won’t like my work at that time and were unhappy as I
use to roam and paint at several places. Then I decided to study fine arts for
being much more prolific in painting and after completing my studies in Fine
Arts I moved to Mumbai. I had an Image in my mind that in Mumbai all stars were
live just next to eachother and I was really fond of Bollywood, but when I came
here there is nothing which I relate to as bollywood or say that yes I am in
Bollywood City. So I decided why not give this city its identity for what it
actually stands for. So I decided to do a wall painting and ‘Anarkali’ is my
first wall painting. After that I got appreciation and so I decided to give my
tribute to 100 Years of Indian Cinema and also continue my work to make more
Wall Paintings across the streets of Bandra. “
For
future Plans, he has in mind to make a big mural paintings of legendry actor
Guru Dutt, Dilip Kumar, Kishor Kumar and Saira banu on streets as a special
tribute to them
